New York International Gift Fair to reorganize categories and layout

The New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) will reorganize its product categories and floor plan over the next three years, resulting in the creation of four market collections — NYIGF Home, NYIGF Lifestyle, NYIGF Handmade and NYIGF New! The changes, which will be implemented between this summer and 2013, will coincide with the planned construction and renovation of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, where the fair has been held since 1986.

By improving category adjacencies, refining existing offerings and introducing new in-demand product categories, NYIGF will offer comprehensive and trend-forward product collections for home, lifestyle and gift in a clear, navigable and energized layout," says Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF Director and Senior Vice President of show owner George Little Management, a dmg world media business.
